As we can get caught up in other things of this world, the Galatians were being told by leaders that they needed to obey the law of the Old Testament to find salvation. That all changed when Jesus died and Paul was writing to show them the error in this thinking. Faith in Christ is what is needed:
I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. So I live my life in this earthly body by trusting the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not one of those who treats the grace of God as meaningless. For if we could be saved by keeping the law, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:20-21 (NLT)
With all the things that we have going on in our lives, how do we show our faith and do what is right?
Dear brothers and sisters, if another Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Galatians 6:1 (NLT)
As I mentioned in my earlier post, that is my hope with this site. That others might come to it to help in their study of the Word and that I might help those that need it. It is not a lot, but I think that this medium provides the platform for those who need and/or want it to get it in their own time and place. It is right for meditation and study. Thanks for coming along.
