So unlike Esther where God is not present in the story, He is all over this one with a visit from Satan who challenges Him to test one of his faithful servants, Job. We are all tested everyday, but Job sums it up:

“I came naked from my mother’s womb,
and I will be stripped of everything when
I die.
The Lord gave me everything I had,
and the Lord has taken it away.
Praise the name of the Lord!”
Job 1:20

I could go on and try to analyze this read more, but this is pretty much it. It’s going to get hard in our lives, but it all comes from God. In fact, the harder it is, the more we need God and he is calling us to him.
